When it comes to Street Photography, there are two things for certain - firstly, people are very passionate about the art form, and secondly, everyone seems to have a different definition of what Street Photography is.
For me, is it everything - the buildings, the everyday activity, the people. I have to be in the mood, I need a purpose to be where I am. The more people the better. People bring life to a street. But sometimes, an empty street speaks volumes.
Black and White images blend well with this form of photography - sometimes not. Sometimes, just a raw image right out of the camera is all that is needed, but other images need post production. It all depends on so many factors it's impossible to say what is right and what is wrong. In the end, it's not the critic that matters, but the person whose imagination is stirred.
